Duckbill Stamps Sticker Set
September is the Federal Duck Stamp Contest, an art competition that has been held annually since 1934 that brings together a range of conservation groups, wildlife refuges, and artists to raise money for wetland conservation and the Migratory Bird Conservation Fund.
So behold, the Duckbill Stamps sticker set!
Belonging to the group of ornithischian (bird-hipped) dinosaurs, "duckbill" dinosaurs include two subfamilies, Hadrosaurinae, and Lambeosaurinae, the latter of which are famous for their flashy head crests. Similar to the ducks of today, many Hadrosaurs preferred territory of swamplands, floodplain forests, and river valleys. They also likely had squawking communications, using those head crests that remind me of the fancy head plumage of many male ducks.
Printed on recycled Kraft paper. Set includes three stickers that are 2.25" tall and between 1" and 1.5" wide.
Not waterproof, and not intended for outdoor use.
As with all Patreon designs, this item is single-run only, and once sold out, will not be restocked.
