Spring Moths: Rosy Maple Moths
Created with the vibrant palette of new growth in mind, the Spring Moths collection features North American species of moths with pink and/or green coloration. The rosy maple moth is named for its distinctly pink color and the fact it is usually found in maple trees. These faux taxidermy moths are made of renewable mulberry paper, cut and detailed by hand with gouache, ink, and acrylic.
Two moths are available, featuring both a specimen display variant with wings up and a more a more natural pose with wings down.
