Spring Moths: Vine Sphinx Moth
Created with the vibrant palette of new growth in mind, the Spring Moths collection features North American species of moths with pink and/or green coloration. The vine sphinx moth has a flying pattern similar to hummingbirds, for which they are sometimes mistaken. These faux taxidermy moths are made of renewable mulberry paper, cut and detailed by hand with gouache, ink, and acrylic.
Two moths are available, featuring both a specimen display variant with wings up and a more a more natural pose with wings down.
