Spring Moths: Pacific Green Sphinx Moth
Created with the vibrant palette of new growth in mind, the Spring Moths collection features North American species of moths with pink and/or green coloration. Also known as the bear moth, the pacific green sphinx moth is among the earliest moths visible every year, with adults living from December through April. These faux taxidermy moths are made of renewable mulberry paper, cut and detailed by hand with gouache, ink, and acrylic.
Two moths are available, featuring both a specimen display variant with wings up and a more a more natural pose with wings down.
